This individual will be responsible for directing and leading a Sales team in establishing clients (High-end Residential and Commercial Clients), increasing sales, overall client satisfaction, and new leads to achieve sales objectives while ensuring profitable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee administrative sales functions including analyzing market trends and developing action plans, preparing sales and marketing activity reports, compiling and reporting on sales data and findings, and participating in the development of sales forecasts.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and current clients, participate in the selection, development, and motivation of necessary sales talent.

  • Participate with planning and controlling company growth and evaluating performance against objectives by assigning accounts and sales initiatives to Account Managers and setting and implementing both short- and long-term sales strategies, as well as developing required actions to achieve goals.

  • Ensure appropriate orientation and training for all new team members, conduct product knowledge seminars for clients, distributors, and sales staff, attend industry and associations trade shows, and maintain and monitor the budget efficiently and responsibly.

  • Attend and participate in company sales meetings, training programs, and assigned trade shows, as well as perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed.


Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • 5 years of landscape or horticultural, design or estimation experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent training, experience, and education.

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in progressive sales, preferably with landscape maintenance, landscape installation, or related landscaping field.

  • Knowledge of Windows-based programs including MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to calculate figures, forecast trends, and adjust budgets.

Preferences:

  • Possess visionary leadership, able to lead a team and work as a team member.

  • Business strategy oriented, with understanding of financial documents.
